Everything you need to assure your safety while away from civilization, all in a pouch that can easily be carried on a belt, or conveniently stowed in an ATV, snowmobile, car or other vehicle.

* The pouch is brightly colored and could be cut to form a signal flag or perhaps into smaller pieces to mark a trail. It could also be burned to create a black smoke signal.

*Inside the pouch is a shrill whistle and a reliable compass, making it possible to attract attention or to maintain a constant heading if a decision to walk to safety is made.

* Two four hour citronella candles are included. Their primary purpose is to assist in starting fires and may be of some value as a bug repellent. They might also provide emergency heat in a disabled car in the winter.

*An emergency heat reflecting blanket, an unbreakable mirror (to flash signals with) and a good quality stainless steel knife round out the kit. You supply your own matches as we do not ship them.
